Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the We Wins! website and mobile application (together, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

The Service is operated by Daniel Odes, an individual based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

We may transfer operation of the Service to a company in the future. If we do, we will update these Terms and notify users as required by law.

2. What We Wins! Is (and Is Not)

We Wins! is a family tool designed to help parents and children organise chores, track completion, and manage parent-defined rewards.

  • We Wins! is not parenting advice
  • We Wins! is not educational, medical, or psychological advice
  • We Wins! does not guarantee outcomes or behaviour changes

The Service is provided for organisational and motivational purposes only.

3. Parents and Children

We Wins! is intended for use by families and may be used by children only under the supervision and control of a parent or legal guardian.

  • The parent or guardian is the account holder, even where children interact with the app

Parents are responsible for:

  • All activity within the family account
  • Any information entered by children
  • Deciding which rewards are offered and fulfilled

Children may:

  • Enter a name or nickname
  • Choose an avatar
  • Mark chores as completed
  • Request rewards

All such actions are subject to parental oversight and approval.

4. Accounts

At present, the Service may be used without creating an account. In the future, accounts may be required.

Accounts may include:

  • Email and password login
  • Apple or Google sign-in
  • Other authentication methods

We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or remove account requirements at any time.

Parents may manage multiple child profiles and access the Service across multiple devices.

5. Stars, Rewards, and Virtual Items

Stars and similar in-app items are virtual only.

  • They have no monetary value within the Service
  • They cannot be exchanged for cash within the app
  • They do not constitute property or a stored value

Any real-world reward (including money) is:

  • Defined entirely by the parent
  • Provided outside the Service
  • The sole responsibility of the parent

We Wins! does not guarantee, enforce, or monitor the delivery of real-world rewards.

Parents may modify, reset, approve, or revoke Stars and rewards at any time.

6. Payments

Some features may be available via one-off in-app purchases, processed exclusively through the Apple App Store.

  • Prices and availability are determined by Apple
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies
  • We do not process payments directly

7. User Content

Users may enter limited content such as names, avatars, and chore information (“User Content”).

  • All User Content is private within the family account
  • You retain ownership of your User Content
  • You grant us a limited licence to use User Content solely to operate the Service

We may remove or restrict access to User Content if required to operate the Service or comply with legal obligations.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or misuse the app
  • Use the Service in a way that could harm others

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party services (such as analytics, crash reporting, or backend infrastructure).

We are not responsible for third-party services, which are governed by their own terms and policies.

10. Availability and Changes

We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Update the Service
  • Temporarily suspend access for maintenance or technical reasons

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We make no warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or suitability for any purpose

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of data
  • Loss arising from reliance on the Service
  • Failure to provide real-world rewards

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under UK law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if necessary to:

  • Enforce these Terms
  • Protect users
  • Comply with legal requirements

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we will notify users via:

  • Email
  • In-app notice
  • Website notice

Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
